Even the B7 RS4 motor is a massive pain the balls to swap in. Anything newer would be worse do to further modifications needed to mount the motor, fit it to your trans, and wire and fuel it properly. Just find a used engine with like 50k miles. Or you could 2.7tt swap it if you have the time and money.
I have a 2.8 V6 A4 B5 (Engine AMX) that Audi specify as 140KW and when buying parts I keep seeing references to a 2.8 turbo of 280KW that appears to be distinct from the 2.7 turbo on the S4. Does anyone know anything about this engine as I have never seen one or any parts for one.
