There's some people posting youtube videos of Farcry 3 multiplayer from this year, I might be wrong but I thought the co op was peer to peer so it could just be an issue with your connection. Though even if it's not peer to peer at it's peak Farcry 3 had very poor connections for coop and deathmatch so it's hard to say.

Me and my buddy bought Far Cry 5 on sale ( $ 15.00) thinking it would be this huge online immersive multiplayer game, with tons of vehicles and maps. So far, I completed the " resistance mission". Tried navigating the cringe worthy 8 bit Arcade mode only to find the multiplayer has less than 10 severs to play from. Matchmaking doesn't work..
